Gianna Gariglietti

“Gianna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as Clinical Supervisor for therapy candidates at the Golden Wellness Center. For nearly 25 years she has provided services and held leadership positions in non-profit organizations including those providing alcohol and drug evaluations, residential and psychiatric care, services for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a sexual assault crisis and child advocacy center. She has provided therapy to children, adults, couples and families, and persons who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Much of Gianna’s work and research has been with those who survived abuse and/or complex trauma. Recent and current published studies around psychedelic therapies and expanded states of consciousness and their ability to help people heal far more quickly than traditional therapy or psychopharmacology has peaked her interest, and she utilizes these and other modalities in treating persons dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety and other concerns.

Gianna practices from a humanistic, strengths based and holistic perspective and also provides psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, including working with ketamine and psilocybin. Gianna completed certification as a psychedelic assisted therapist through Naropa University, and is a Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA therapy trainee. She has additional training in Ketamine and Psychedelic Medicine from the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI) and is a foundational member of the American Psychedelic Practitioner Association.

“I love and celebrate the diversity of people, and find it an immense privilege to support others as they look for more meaning and joy in life, as they move through periods of pain and suffering, or work to improve their relationships to others and/or themselves. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate complexities, and with couples looking to improve or redefine their relationship, or those needing help to work out positive co-parenting strategies when a relationship ends. Having over 20 years experience as a C-level executive, I also enjoy working with professionals hoping to find more meaning in their careers, or trying to reach that elusive work/life balance. I tend to focus on my client’s strengths and abilities, and will walk alongside you in your healing and health journey, while helping you remember to celebrate successes and to treat yourself with grace when things don’t go as planned.” ”
