With an unwavering dedication to the field of mental health since 1999, Mary Dohrmann's journey has been marked by relentless passion and a commitment to transformative healing. Her academic pursuits centered around psychology, with a distinct focus on child psychology and a minor in outdoor leadership, shaped by a deep-seated belief in the extraordinary healing potential of nature for both mental and physical well-being. This profound conviction led her to collaborate with adoption agencies and child protective services across multiple states, including Arizona, Maryland, California, and her home state of Colorado.
Mary's extensive qualifications include being a nationally certified counselor, registered play therapist with her level one in Theraplay, certified in Sand Tray Therapy, EMDR, Flash Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Certified ADHD and Autism Tester, and Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist. She also serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Supervisor, guiding the next generation of mental health professionals.
She has completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology, earned a master's degree in Counseling, and is currently in the final stages of her Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from the University of Holy Cross. Beyond her academic achievements, she has actively pursued specialized training, including obtaining a Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Certificate from Naropa University. As the founder of The Golden Wellness Center, Mary is deeply committed to providing accessible, high-quality integrative healthcare to the greater Golden, Denver, and front-range mountain communities.

Betsy LeClair
Betsy is our practice manager at GWC, working closely with Julian and Jamie. She will often be found at the front desk or around the office assisting clients and clinicians.
Betsy is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor who has completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training. As a firm believer in the use of food and nature as medicine, she is excited to educate and empower individuals and families to take control of their own health. Betsy offers one on one in depth diet and lifestyle consultations which give her an understanding of any current imbalances that may be present. Together with the client, she carefully creates a unique treatment plan to restore balance and harmony within the mind, body, and spirit.

Hello, I'm Julian, a dedicated virtual assistant based in the Philippines. I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources Development, reflecting my passion for understanding and nurturing talent within organizations.
